#SyncedStories by Lauren Wallis of Youme Clothing "This week I've found myself thinking a lot about the last Cultivate Orange County gathering. It was my first time attending and participating in any kind of Synced Culture event. I had heard great things, but didn't really know what to expect. When I got there I saw a few familiar faces, but mostly people I didn't know. Environments like that can sometimes be intimidating, but from the moment I walked in everyone was so incredibly kind, helpful and friendly. Both Patch Coffee and SYNCED CULTURE really fostered an accessible, creative, collaborative environment the entire night! You could feel the passion and authenticity of the other speakers, artists and people just hanging out together. We all seemed to have a desire to connect socially and practically, which was so refreshing! We exchanged fun, meaningful conversations as well as numbers and emails. People were eager to support each other. It really inspired me to think of more ways I can cultivate that kind of Spirit filled community in my own circles, and I'm excited to continue being a part of the movement Synced Culture is helping create!"
